Batman And Harley Quinn Movie: Kevin Conroy Returns, Big Bang Theory Actress Joins As Voice Artist, Details

Warner Bros. is working on a new DC animated project featuring the Batman. Moreover, the movie’s title has revealed that Harley Quinn would be fighting alongside the Dark Knight.

According to Empire, Warner Bros. is working on Batman and Harley Quinn animated movie to release later this summer. Furthermore, fans can rest assured as Bruce Timm is the executive producer of the project.

Warner Bros. has produced a new story for the movie, teaming up Batman with Nightwing and Harley Quinn. The three will work together as they attempt to stop Poison Ivy from causing a “global catastrophe.”

Kevin Conroy returns to voice as Batman. The actor voiced the Dark Knight for the first time in Batman: The Animated Series. Loren Lester will voice Nightwing who has also voiced Robin in Batman: The Animated series.

For Harley Quinn, the studio has decided to bring in Melissa Rauch. For fans that aren’t aware, the actress is quite known for her role in The Big Bang Theory. If you have heard her, then we all know that she won’t be straining her voice to modulate her tone for Harley Quinn.

“I love that Harley is a badass and, beyond that, that she uses her humor as another weapon in her arsenal,” Rauch said. “She knows just how to diffuse a situation with her humor, and how to incite a situation with her sarcasm. It’s a dream role.”

She added, “I knew Harley had a higher pitched tone, and a bit of a New York accent — and I come from a New Jersey family where everyone could be former gun molls. So I wanted to give a nod to my background without being as shrill. In all honesty, I used to speak exactly like that — my acting school professors really worked the accent out of me. So it was fun to find those tones and accent again.”

Recently, Conroy also made it official via his Twitter account. He revealed that the project is confirmed and gave us a picture of himself in the studio recording as The Bat. Check it out below.
