Casting Call Hints Original Ant-Man & The Wasp Fight Scene Set In 80s

It looks like fans will once again get to see the original Ant-Man & The Wasp in action in the upcoming sequel. A new casting call has revealed details which suggest that an action sequence set in the 80s will be filmed in the last second week of October.

The news comes from Omega Underground who were able to get their hands on the casting call. Going by the details, it is possible that Michelle Pfeiffer (Janet) and Michael Douglas (Hank) could be part of this filming which takes place in the 80s.

*CHERRY BLUE*

-1980s Military Goons

-Caucasian

-Males (5’9-6’2)

Shooting dates include October 23-26.

This scene which seems to be a flashback would likely involve Hank and Janet as Ant-Man & The Wasp from the time they worked for SHIELD.  The original film, ‘Ant-Man’ also featured a flashback scene involving Hank and Janet.

In an earlier interview, Pfeiffer dropped some hints about her character, suggesting that it has a “great sense of humor”. But it looks like there’s more to her role in the film.

The filming of Ant-Man & The Wasp will wrap later this November. The sequel will hit the big screens on July 6th, 2018.

The new Ant-Man & The Wasp played by Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly will make their first appearance together as the superheroes in the sequel. Rudd made his debut as Ant-Man in the original film. Earlier this week, new set photos revealed both actors in their superhero suits filming scenes together.

Later on, both characters are also set to make their appearances in the untitled Avengers 4. But Rudd reprises his character prior in Avengers: Infinity War.
