8 Hi-Res Stills Released From Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald

Earlier on Saturday, Warner Bros. released a brand new trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald at San Diego Comic-Con. The trailer received quite the spotlight among Potter fans as it gave the first look at alchemist Nicolas Flamel.

The trailer in itself had many visually stunning moments for fans to cherish. Just recently, the studio released 8 hi-res stills of moments from the recent trailer.

There’s also a still of Johnny Depp as Geller Grindelwald. At SDCC, the actor surprised the audience by appearing in full costume and makeup of his character and also delivered a speech to the attendees.

Another photo shows Albus Dumbledore looking at what may look like his reflection through the Mirror of Erised. But beside his image is Grindelwald which seems to be his “heart’s desire”.

While it may look like the movie would explore Dumbledore’s sexuality through his relationship with Grindelwald, we must disappoint fans that it has been confirmed that movie won’t address that part of Dumbledore in this movie.

It’s possible that the “I can’t move against Grindelwald” comment was just used to create hype among fans.

Fans can check out the stills below but the images don’t offer anything new for fans to take.

Directed by David Yates, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald stars Eddie Redmayne who is reprising his role as Newt Scamander. Ezra Miller (Credence Barebone), Alison Sudol (Queenie Goldstein), Katherine Waterston (Porpentina Goldstein), Dan Fogler (Jacob Kowalski) are also reprising their characters.

The film will be introducing Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore along with others like Brontis Jodorowsky’s Nicolas Flamel.  Zoe Kravitz also has a primary role to play as Leta Lestrange in the movie.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald hits theatres on November 16, 2018. Readers can also take a look at the brand-new trailer and poster below.
