Amber Heard Looks Stunning As Redhead In ‘Aquaman’ Set Photo

The filming of Aquaman in Australia was recently put on hold due to the Justice League reshoots. Jason Momoa had to travel back to London and film scenes under the direction of Joss Whedon.

Since the reshoots wrap up, Momoa and the rest of the cast have resumed filming for Aquaman. Fortunately, we now have a new photo update from Amber Heard.

The actress shared a photo posing along with Momoa and director James Wan. Amber steals the spotlight thanks to her stunning redhead for the Mera attire. The actress has truly transformed for the DCEU role.  Fans can check out the photo below.

It looks like the photo was captured during a “water break” on set. The image was clicked by set photographer Jasin Boland. He also snapped the first look of Amber Heard as Mera in her fish scale attire for Aquaman.

It looks like the production continues as planned in Australia. By the looks of it, the team seems to be filming scenes on land rather than using water tanks which were built inside the studio.

While production was on a halt due to the Justice League reshoots, the film crew still continued filming stunts with Dolph Lundgren. The actor plays as King Nereus in Aquaman.

Currently, fans are also hoping for an update on Aquaman at San Deigo Comic-Con 2017. Wan and his crew begin production in May. Although it’s just been months since filming, it’s possible for the team to put together a footage specially made for SDCC.

Aquaman hits theaters on December 21st, 2018. Fans can catch the Atlantian superhero and Mera in action in the upcoming Justice League releasing on November 17th this year.
