Expectations are high for the upcoming DC FanDome live event and with The Flash director Andy Muschietti’s confirmed participation; DC fans are hoping to get a teasing glimpse of the speedster DC film. The director recently posted a clip via his wife’s Instagram, confirming his appearance for the event as well as bringing in a “little surprise” for DC fans.
The Flash movie is currently amidst the final stages of wrapping up production in the UK. Earlier last week, the director was spotted in social media stills along with the production crew during the film’s wrap party. So it seems like the director may have some new never-before-seen content to offer.
A short teaser or trailer is unlikely since the film is still more than a year away from its release date. Perhaps, first looks such as Sasha Calle donning the Supergirl suit along with Michael Keaton in the Batman armor as well as Ezra Miller’s The Flash.
Last year’s DC FanDome offered fans something on a similar level, revealing the concept art of Keaton’s Batman and The Flash.
“Andy Muschietti, Director of The Flash. We are here in Leavesden near London finishing production for The Flash,” Muschietti says in the post. “And we have a little surprise for you. Saturday October 16. DCFandome.com. Go check out the times and enjoy. Me and this guy [The Flash] are going to be waiting for you.” You can check out the video below.

The Flash movie will be DC’s first entry into the multiverse with Ben Affleck’s version of Batman also making an appearance. DC Cinematic Universe first embraced the multiverse narrative when Ezra Miller’s The Flash met Barry Allen from The CW’s The Flash during the “Crisis on Infinite Earths” event.
“[The Flash] was a really nice way to revisit that as the prior experience had been difficult,” Affleck told Variety. “This was really lovely. Really fun… I had a great time… I love Ezra and I had a chance to see Jason [Momoa], who’s over there making ‘Aquaman [and the Lost Kingdom],'”
The Flash will hit theaters on November 4, 2022.
