Marvel Studios has rolled out a new Ant-Man and the Wasp trailer which features the two bug-sized superheroes Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) in action along with the antagonist Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen). The fan-favorite Luis (Michael Pena) can also be seen in his funny avatar in the minute-long trailer.

In the first Ant-Man film, Evangeline Lilly’s Hope van Dyne helped her father Michael Douglas’ Dr. Hank Pym to train Scott Lang. But, the upcoming movie will see her donning her own superhero Wasp suit.
During an on-set interview, the actress revealed how her Wasp suit is different from that of Ant-Man. She revealed that her suit is an upgrade from Scott Lang’s suit and there’s no button in it. The suit has wrist blasters and a new reaction system that works according to her mind.
“So, I don’t have a button,” Lilly said, reported Comicbook.com. “My suit is an upgrade from Scott Lang’s suit that he was wearing because he was wearing Hank’s original suit from the 1960s. So, what we were able to do with technology and my suit, I have blasters on my wrists. I have my wings. Essentially there is like a reaction system to what I am thinking. So, I don’t have to do anything physically to activate shrinking wings, blasters growing, none of that. I just think it and it happens.”
Talking more about Ant-Man and the Wasp, the film will see Scott, Hope and Michael Douglas trying to rescue Hank’s wife and Hope’s mother Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) aka the original Wasp from the Quantum Realm, a mysterious alternate dimension into which she disappeared decades ago. The Wasp will accompany Ant-Man in his journey to find her mother.
Recently a new behind-the-scenes picture from the film’s set surfaced online featuring the Wasp seen resting her head on Ant-Man’s shoulders. You can check out the picture below.
Directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man and the Wasp also star Michael Pena, Randall Park, Bobby Cannavale, Walton Goggins, T.I. and Laurence Fishburne.
Ant-Man and the Wasp will debut in theaters on July 6, 2018.
