Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is increasingly looking more pivotal to the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4 arc with the threequel set to offer the stage for a new supervillain called Kang the Conqueror played by Jonathan Majors. Yet it seems like he won’t be the only major villain in the film as a new report indicated the introduction of MODOK, a fan-favorite villain from the Marvel Universe as well.

Adding to the rumor mill, A recent update from GWW states Darren Cross (Corey Stoll) would return but not in his yellow suit rather as MCU’s M.O.D.O.K. Earlier, the website had claimed Jim Carey would appear as the Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing.
Cross appeared in the first Ant-man movie as the antagonist but ends up presumably dead after Scott Lang shrinks between the molecules to attack him from within. It’s currently unclear how Cross’ transformation would be explained in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. In Marvel comics, it’s George Tarleton, an A.I.M. scientist who became M.O.D.O.K using mutagenic.

Plot details for Ant-man 3 have been in tight wraps except for a few slip-ups. Stoll’s involvement in the third Ant-film was initially revealed by star Evangeline Lily when she accidentally tagged the star in a social media post celebrating the start of work for the MCU project.
An artwork spotted on a crew merch for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania teased Kang the Conqueror on a shattered Ant-man headgear. Some rumors circulating online are considering the possibility of Lang facing dire life or death situation. But nothing remains certain at the moment so fans are advised to take this news with a grain of salt.

Meanwhile, Ant-Man’s presence was recently felt in Disney Plus’ Hawkeye series as well. The third episode featured a Pym technology reference indicating a possible crossover with Clint Barton or even Kate Bishop.
