After the epic success of Avengers: Infinity War, Marvel Studios is yet again ready with its next superhero offering Ant-Man and the Wasp, which is making its debut in July.
A Reddit user who goes by the name BillyKaplan1 has posted a picture from the sets of Ant-Man and the Wasp that offers fans the first look at Randall Park. Park portrays the Marvel Comics character, Jimmy Woo, who is the leader of the Agents of Atlas. It still remains unclear if Jimmy will play an Agent of SHIELD or an FBI agent in the new film. It might also be that Woo will work with Ant-Man, the Wasp, and Hank Pym to take down the film’s mysterious villain, Ghost.
The picture shows Randall Park standing alongside Paul Rudd. Looking at the picture it seems like Park might be in charge of keeping track of Scott Lang who escaped the secured facility known as the Raft with the help of Captain America at the end of Captain America: Civil War. In the recently released Avengers: Infinity War, Steve Rogers explained that after the Civil War, both Ant-man and Hawkeye decided to take deals for house arrest to keep their families safe.
It is expected that Ant-Man and the Wasp will take place after Civil War and before or during Avengers: Infinity War. Rumors are that the Quantum Realm will play a major role in the upcoming Marvel film. The Quantum Realm is expected to have very serious implications for Captain Marvel as well as the highly awaited Avengers 4. Marvel fans have already come up with their own theories to suggest how Ant-Man & The Wasp might connect to the 2019’s Avengers 4.
Ant-Man and the Wasp is directed by Peyton Reed. The film stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Pena, Randall Park, Bobby Cannavale, Walton Goggins, T.I., Laurence Fishburne, Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer.
Ant-Man and the Wasp is premiering in theaters on July 6, 2018.
