The director has confirmed that Composer Beck would return for the sequel. For those unaware, he also scored the original film as well.

Beck is quite known for his works. The music composer also won a Primetime Emmy in 1998 for ‘Outstanding Music Composition’ for Buffy the Vampire Slayer series. Since then, he has gone on work for several Hollywood titles such as Hangover, Frozen and Edge of Tomorrow.

Beck is also going to be the composer for Trolls 2. Recently, he scored for a sci-fi movie titled Anon which is currently in post-production.

While this is indeed good news, fans would have to wait as Director Peyton Reed as suggested fans to stick around for another possible announcement. Ant-Man and the Wasp hits theaters on July 6th, 2018. The film is all set to begin production this July.

In more Ant-man news, recently, Edgar Wright finally opened up about the reason behind his departure from the original project. here’s what the English director had to say about the split to Variety on their podcast.

“I wanted to make a Marvel movie, but I don’t think they really wanted to make an Edgar Wright movie,” said Wright. He also added that his final decision came about when the studio went ahead to re-write the film without his input. “Having written all my other movies, that’s a tough thing to move forward. Suddenly becoming a director for hire on it, you’re sort of less emotionally invested and you start to wonder why you’re there, really.”

Stay tuned. #antmanandthewasp
