‘Ant-Man And The Wasp’: Open Casting Call Confirms Flashback Scene

An open casting call for Marvel’s upcoming movie Ant-Man and the Wasp confirm that there will be a flashback scene taking you back to 1987 Argentina.

This piece of news might be of interest to Marvel fans as well as to those residing in Savannah and trying to build a career in acting. Well, Marvel doesn’t require an additional superhero in Ant-Man and the Wasp, but they definitely need a few background artists.

A casting call for Ant-Man and the Wasp that is expected to hit the theatres next year has been issued in Savannah. The notice from Central Casting Georgia is calling out for both men and women of all ages to portray as Argentinean locals. The shot will be a park scene that takes place in 1987.

The notice mentions that they need background actors who will be paid for the work. No experience or fee is required and the filming will take place on Monday, October 30, and Tuesday, October 31. The notice also mentions that the actors will be required for a fitting in Savannah.

The production is under the name Cherry Blue, which is apparently the code name of Ant-Man and the Wasp, a sequel to Marvel’s Ant-Man.

All those interested in being a part of this huge project can email Central Casting Georgia at ‘savannah@centralcasting.com’ along with your legal first and last name and your most recent photograph. Be sure to type “1987” in the subject line. You will also later be asked to complete a federal I-9 form and bring it to the casting office.

The fact that the scene that is about to be filmed is staged in the year 1987 indicates clearly that there will be a flashback scene.

Meanwhile, the filming of Ant-Man and the Wasp is in full swing. A recent report published in ComicBookMovie suggests that a source revealed that there was a scene shot recently of a fiery truck rolling down the street without anyone inside. The revelation indicates the bare bones of a Giant-Man sequence.

A lot is expected from the upcoming Marvel’s enterprise. Let us know in the comments below what you expect to see in this new Ant-Man and the Wasp.

The film will once again see Paul Rudd play the title role along with Evangeline Lilly who will also be making her first appearance as a superhero in the sequel. Ant-Man and the Wasp is expected to hit the theatres on July 6, 2018.
