Ant-Man And The Wasp: Watch Micheal Peña Confirm Role Reprisal For MCU Sequel

It looks like Michael Peña finally received his call back to star in Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp. The actor recently confirmed that he will reprise his hilarious supporting character in the sequel movie.

LRM got its hands on the scoop during an interview with the actor at the world premiere of CHIPS.  While discussing his upcoming project, the actor surprisingly dropped the news of his character reprisal in Ant-man and the Wasp. “So, I’m doing Extinction next, that’s a Universal movie. And then I’m doing Ant-Man, Part 2,” Peña said. check out his interview below.

Peña played as Luis in the original Ant-man movie released in 2015. The character was the main element of humor tagged along with Paul Rudd. Fortunately, fans will get to see him again in the sequel. However, the screen time of his character is yet to be revealed.

For now, fans catch Peña in action as Frank in CHIPS. The R-rated movie will release on 24th March.

Fans may find out later this year as Ant-Man and the Wasp will begin production in summer. The MCU sequel is set to hit theaters on July 6th, 2018.

Paul Rudd won’t be the only superhero in the upcoming sequel as Evangeline Lilly will also make her grand appearance as the Wasp. Lilly played her supporting role in the original movie as Hope Pym but was not part of the action as the Wasp. Nevertheless, the actress’s superhero role was hinted in the original movie ending.  Fans can take a look at it below.

Unfortunately, Lilly won’t be appearing in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War. The actress confirmed in an earlier interview that her character Wasp is all set for Infinity War part-2 but “won’t be in the first part”.
