‘Aquaman’ Gets Second Early Screening To Gauge Audiences’ Reactions

It seems Aquaman is all ready for another screening to gauge audiences’ reaction. While fans are still waiting for the first Aquaman trailer to roll out, some of them are lucky enough to get the chance to watch a portion of the highly anticipated movie.

The information came via Jeremy Conrad who is the Editor-in-Chief of MCU Cosmic. When a Twitter user asked Conrad if he has any information regarding the screening of “Fish guy” movie, he replied saying, “It’s tonight. Starts in three minutes.”

Notably, the first Aquaman screening was held back in February. The screening attendees shared positive feedback about the movie on social media. They loved Jason Momoa’s portrayal of Arthur Curry. The character played by Jason Momoa made his big screen debut in 2017’s Justice League. Prior, he made a cameo appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

While Justice League failed to impress the audiences and the critics, Arthur Curry aka Aquaman’s character gained a lot of appreciation. Moreover, It received the right positive vibe the studio would have expected as they went ahead for a solo origin story for the DC underwater superhero as planned.

Aquaman’s first promotional look was unveiled at the 2018 Licensing Expo in Las Vegas last month.  The promotional banner, which was put on display next to Zachary Levi’s Shazam!, showcased Jason Momoa’s new costume for Aquaman, sporting a more armored look.  The costume is set in an orange and green palette which resembles the character’s classic comic book look. Some Aquaman footage was also showcased at the CinemaCon event back in April.

Aquaman director James Wan has recently teased that the film trailer is rolling out soon. When a fan asked Wan on Twitter if he has any specific date in mind for the trailer release, he only replied, “*whispering* Soooooon….

Rumor has it that the trailer launch might take place at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con 2018 event which is scheduled to be held in July.

In addition to Jason Momoa, Aquaman also stars Amber Heard, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Patrick Wilson, Willem Dafoe,  Nicole Kidman, Temuera Morrison and Dolph Lundgren. The film will arrive in theatres on December 21st.

It is possible that Conrad or people who attended the early screening might share their non-spoiler views of what they felt about the movie. Have a look out for news to stay updated.
