Jason Momoa has been going through intense training to look huge and shredded for his upcoming role in Aquaman. Fans are currently eagerly waiting to see his aesthetic Atlantian body in the upcoming Justice League.
At present, Momoa is in Australia for the production of Aquaman. Although the filming of his standalone movie has begun- it seems like it hasn’t messed with the actor’s training schedule.
Recently, Momoa shared a new clip on Instagram- showing off his jaw-dropping Lats doing a mountain climbing workout. Turns out, the place that the actor is currently training in was a sound stage inside the Village Roadshow studios.
The news was revealed by Superhero News in their recent video podcast (host Sean Gerber also confirmed new characters inspired from DC Comics New 52). According to their report, there are nine sound stages in the studio- one of them was turned into a gym to help Momoa stay in shape as he will go to film in the location for the next six months.
Earlier during the filming of Man of Steel, Zack Snyder and his crew faced similar hurdles as the filming schedule didn’t provide Henry Cavill enough time to work out and recover. However, the actor was able to successfully maintain his physique through its production thanks to his dedicated trainer Mark Twight.
Aquaman releases on December 21st, 2018. The rest of the cast are also training hard for the filming in Australia. Earlier, a photo revealed Amber Heard (Mera) and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Black Manta) training together in the gym. Fans can check it out below.
