Warner Bros. and DC Films’ Aquaman is now less than two months away from release, so, the countdown for the film has officially started. Actor Jason Momoa, who is portraying the DC underwater superhero in the film, recently shared a brand new Aquaman promo which offers some never seen before footage.
“Atlantis has always had a king, now it needs something more, a hero,” Amber Heard’s Mera says in the promo.
Momoa also shared a behind-the-scenes look at the classic orange and green one suit urging people to dress as Arthur Curry for Halloween. The costume reveal was followed by a footage that showed Curry in armor, getting ready to go up against King Orm.
“Why be anything else when you can be Aquaman?” Momoa says in the video clip. You can check out the video clips below.
Notably, Warner Bros. also recently debuted a new image of Momoa’s future King of The Seven Seas donning his comic-accurate green and orange armor with a trident in hand, to promote the new Aquaman display that’s coming to Madame Tussauds wax museum in Orlando, Florida. The figure will be placed in Justice League: A Call For Heroes, a themed exhibit inside Madame Tussauds. It will begin being displayed starting December 4.
In more Aquaman news, the movie’s London red carpet premiere will be held on Monday, November 26, 2018, at Cineworld and North Terrace, around 17 days before it hits theaters in the United Kingdom and Ireland on December 14, 2018. The film will first release in China on December 7, 2018, and then in Brazil and Russia on December 13, 2018.
