Warner Bros. and DC Films’ Aquaman is eyeing a good box office opening, at least considering the praise it has received in the first wave of social media reactions. With the film inching closer to release, more and more pictures, banners, and TV spots are being released to increase the fans’ excitement for the film.
A new picture of Patrick Wilson’s King Orm aka Ocean Master has surfaced online on the DC Cinematic subreddit that offers his full costume look. Ocean Master is playing Arthur Curry aka Aquaman’s half-brother Orm, the film’s main villain, who wants to rage a war against the surface world blaming human beings for the pathetic condition of the oceans.
A new TV spot has also been spotted online giving us a closer look at the powerful villain. In the TV spot, Orm asks Arthur to go home and never ever come back to Atlantis again. Arthur, on the other hand, explains he always wanted to meet his younger brother. But, now after finding how Orm has turned out to be, that desire has gone away.
“You are not going to win this,” Orm says to Arthur in the TV spot adding, “A war is coming to the surface whether you like it or not.”
The film studio has released a new international Aquaman poster ahead of the film’s China release next week. The poster features all the main players from the upcoming DC film.
