James Wan and his team are currently filming Aquaman in Australia. Earlier this month, the news was revealed by the director when he shared a photo from the set. A latter press release from Warner Bros. announced that the crew had begun principal photography.
Recently, we came across a rumor which revealed the DC Film’s shooting location in Australia. Twitter user The Aquaman Shrine tweeted that his “local reports indicate location filming this week at Amity Point, North Stradbroke Island.” Fans can check it out below.
In the past, Shrine has been credible with his tweet reports. Moreover, he is also followed by DC film boss Geoff Johns. While we can vouch for his credibility- there are no official reports confirming the news.
In more Aquaman news, a new young actor has had the opportunity to start his acting career by playing a role in the DC film. Moreover, he will play as the Atlantian superhero himself but as his younger version.
According to Gold Coast bulletin, Sydney teen Otis Dhanji has been cast to play as young Arthur Curry. This movie will be the young actor’s screen debut as he gets the opportunity to star along with other talented artists.
It is also likely that Dhanji will have the chance to interact with Nicole Kidman who plays as Queen Atlanna, the biological mother of Arthur Curry. The report has also revealed that the young actor will begin filming his role at Village Roadshow studios later this week.
Aquaman is set to hit theaters on December 21st, 2018. Although the film’s release date has been changed several times, there seems to be no delay in the progression of the project.
