It looks like the Aquaman film crew are currently filming action sequences with a team of stunt artists. Earlier, a set footage revealed Mera shooting a chase scene on rooftops with a few of the Atlantean soldiers looking to take her down.
Finally, a new set photo gives a closer look at the body armor worn by those Atlantean soldiers. Fans can check it out below.
By the looks of it, the suit is similar to Aquaman and Mera’s armor shown in Justice League. Some scale-like features can be spotted below the torso. The rest of the costume looks heavily armored to handle firepower.
Twitter user b1gr1g has also shared a photo from the set which seems to have been captured during a chase scene filming at the Village Roadshow studio backlot. Stunt double actress Joanna Bennett can also be spotted on the rooftop strapped on. Fans can check out the photo below.
Bennett is Amber Heard’s stunt double in Aquaman. Earlier, the actress was also Gal Gadot’s double during additional photography. Recently, she was the double for Gadot and Robin Wright in Justice League.

Aquaman production is ongoing as planned in Australia. Director James Wan also recently shared an update on Instagram that filming at The Curry Lighthouse has begun. Earlier set videos revealed the set in construction during Nicole Kidman’s filming as Queen Atlanna.
Aquaman hits theatres on December 21st, 2017. But lately, there have speculations that the film could get an earlier release date as Paramount’s next Transformers film is also slated to release on the same month.
