Arnold Schwarzenegger Shares A BTS Terminator 6 Still With Linda Hamilton, Wishing Her Happy Birthday

The fan-favorite on-screen Terminator pair, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton, are reuniting for the first time in 27 years in Terminator 6. The two were last seen together in Terminator 2: Judgement Day back released in 1991. Schwarzenegger is once again taking on the role of a robotic time traveler, while Linda Hamilton is reprising her role of Sarah Connor in the upcoming film.

Schwarzenegger recently posted a then-and-now photo of the two of them together to celebrate Hamilton’s birthday. The picture shows Hamilton resting her head on Schwarzenegger’s shoulder, with the two both bearing big smiles on their face. While half of the picture appears to be from their Judgment Days, the other half appears to be from the set of Terminator 6.

Happy birthday to my dear friend Linda Hamilton. One of my favorite co-stars, a true badass, and a wonderful human being. I’m pumped to be back together again,” Schwarzenegger captioned the picture. You can check out the picture below.

Not much is known about the as-yet-untitled project except that it is a direct sequel to Terminator 2 and completely ignores the events of Terminator 3, Salvation and Genisys. The film’s story will mostly follow Boneta’s character Dani Ramos, a young working Mexican woman who finds herself caught up in the war between man and machine.

Last month, Schwarzenegger shared a picture of himself training and sharing his knowledge of pumping up with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. actor Gabriel Luna, his successor in the Terminator universe, in a gym.

Terminator 6 is expected to give a proper ending to T-800 and introduce a brand-new type of Terminator played by Luna. The film will mark the launch of a new reboot trilogy by producer James Cameron.

Terminator 6 is being helmed by Tim Miller, who directed the first Deadpool movie and produced by Hamilton’s ex-husband James Cameron. The yet-to-be-titled Terminator film stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, Mackenzie Davis, Gabriel Luna, Natalia Reyes, and Diego Boneta. The film is scheduled for release on Nov. 22, 2019.
