Arrow Season 6 finale airs next Thursday on The CW. The final chapter of the sixth season is titled “Life Sentence” and it will feature the highly-anticipated showdown between Starling City hero Oliver Queen and the supervillain Ricardo Diaz.
The CW has released a promo video teasing the events of the action-packed finale. The trailer gives a glimpse of the final showdown between Diaz and the reunited Team Arrow.
The clip opens with Oliver telling “Diaz doesn’t go down easy.” After several failed attempts, this is Arrow’s final chance to stop Diaz for once and for all. However, Diaz is well prepared for the fight. Meanwhile, there are enough explosives hidden to send Team Arrow “into orbit.”
The final moments of the trailer suggest that Diaz will give them a tough fight and the Team Arrow will find itself trapped in his sinister plan. Scroll down to watch the full trailer.
The CW has not revealed much about the plot of Arrow Season 6. The synopsis of the season finale only hints at Oliver joining hands with a new ally. Unfortunately, it still remains to see who will Oliver join forces with for his final battle with Diaz.
“THE EPIC SEASON FINALE OF ARROW — With a new ally on his team, Oliver (Stephen Amell) engages Diaz (guest star Kirk Acevedo) in an epic final battle,” reads the official synopsis for “Arrow” Season 6 episode 23 titled “Life Sentence.”
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Arrow Producer Marc Guggenheim teased an “unconventional” and “game-changing” finale.
“It’s gonna be interesting,” Guggenheim said. “It’s very, you know, I’ve been saying it’s an unconventional kind of finale. It still feels very much like a season finale. When I first started talking about it we hadn’t written the darn thing yet, but now we’ve written it and we’re in prep on it and on Monday we start shooting. And it’s a real game-changer.”
Arrow Season 6 finale airs May 17 on The CW. Be sure to keep visiting Pursue News for more updates and information.
