Arrow Season 7 is a few months away. The upcoming installment will not go on air until this fall. Meanwhile, several theories about what’s coming next are floating around. Recently, the show’s leading actor Stephen Amell, who plays the role of Oliver Queen, also known as Arrow, addressed one of the most popular theories about his character’s imprisonment.
Arrow Season 6 ended with a major cliffhanger. In the final hours, Team Arrow waged a war against the big bad Diaz. Unfortunately, Oliver Queen had a big price to pay. In exchange for his Team’s immunity from the FBI, Oliver handed himself over to the police. He publicly made a confession that he is the Green Arrow. The episode ended with Oliver being taken in custody and imprisoned in a high-security prison known as The Slab.
While Oliver’s future in the series remains unclear, rumor has it that the superhero will remain only in prison for the first three episodes of Arrow Season 7. Amell took to his official Twitter account to set the record straight. According to the actor, this rumor is “false.” Scroll down to view the post.
Amell refrained from revealing any other details from the plot of the series. And it still remains uncertain for how long Oliver will remain locked in the prison.
