Avengers 4: Loki Set Photos Suggest A Flashback Scene With Ensemble

Tom Hiddleston seems happy and in good spirits, dressed up as Loki on the set of Avengers 4 on Thursday, November 2 in Atlanta, Ga. His costume, as well as those of Chris Hemsworth and Robert Downey Jr., suggests some sort of flashback scene.

Even though the next movie to come out in the Avengers franchise after Thor: Ragnarok is Avengers: Infinity War, production work for Marvel Studio’s Avengers 4 is going on in full swing. The team is very secretive and refuses to divulge much information, including the real title of the film. However, some bit of information has begun to emerge off late. Avengers 4 is going to be big for many reasons, one of them being that this would be the big culmination to The Avengers.

Just Jared shared a plethora of set pictures of Hiddleston along with Downey and Hemsworth in their costume. The images clearly indicate a flashback scene to The Avengers. Robert Downey Jr. was first seen in a classic Avengers t-shirt, trying hard to calm down an angry Hulk after the battle of New York. Later, photographs of Chris Hemsworth albeit his long hair that he had in Thor: Ragnarok was revealed.

The pictures that stand out are that of Hiddleston’s Loki character in what seems to be a recreation of an ending to The Avengers. Loki looks exactly like how he seemed in 2012 with a muzzle around his face and cuffs on his wrists. This look confirms the flashback theory.

Just Jared had shared many pictures of Robert Downey Jr (who plays the role of Tony Stark) yesterday too from the Avengers 4 set.

Directed by Anthony Russo and Joe (Joseph) Russo, Avengers 4 is expected to hit the theaters on May 3, 2019. Other movies of the MCU that will rock the box office includes Thor: Ragnarok on November 2, 2017, Black Panther on February 16, 2018, Avengers: Infinity War on May 4, 2018, Ant-Man and the Wasp on July 6, 2018, Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019, the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming on July 5, 2019, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in 2020.
