Avengers: Infinity War and its sequel Avengers 4 is the biggest project that Marvel has undertaken. Dozens of heroes from the roster star in the upcoming film as fans wait to see their favorite heroes in action.
Out of all the heroes who have made an impact in the MCU, Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man can certainly be counted amongst them. Given the major heroes that were already present in MCU, many thought Ant-Man would be a little out of place.
But he proved that he could make himself count amongst the bigwigs like Iron Man, Captain America and others. After two appearances in MCU, Rudd’s Ant-Man will now be seen in the two ensembles and the sequel of his solo movie Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Since every hero tends to don a new costume with each movie, a recently released video revealed Rudd’s new superhero costume. The suit’s first look has not been officially revealed yet but it can be seen in the video.
The cast of Ant-Man and the Wasp including Rudd and Evangeline Lilly came together with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, director Peyton Reed, Avengers 4 co-stars Zoe Saldana and Karen Gillian to post a video about helping people affected due to Hurricane Harvey.
Saldana was the one speaking throughout the video and how everyone could do their part and help the people in need. Amongst all this, one could not help but notice the new suit that Rudd was wearing. Beside him, Lilly was also spotted wearing her superhero suit which was officially revealed earlier this week.
Ant-Man and the Wasp has begun filming in Atlanta and with Avengers 4 also being shot, Rudd’s new suit could appear in any one of these movies.
Rudd first donned an Ant-Man suit in his original standalone movie. The costume in that movie had a mix of red, black and gray colored helmet. The suit was upgraded with a few minor changes when he appeared in Captain America: Civil War.
Now with him appearing in the ensemble, it was expected that the suit would be upgraded once again. The latest suit seems to be somewhat similar to the very first one he wore in his solo movie.
Rudd has confirmed appearances in Avengers: Infinity War and its sequel. Post that he will be starring in Ant-Man and the Wasp, which will see him reuniting with Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym and Lilly’s Hope Van Dyne.
With the invasion of Thanos rumored to bring a lot of change to the MCU, it remains to be seen how many more appearances does Rudd get as the superhero.
Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4 will release on May 4, 2018 and May 3, 2019 respectively along with Ant-Man and the Wasp on July 6 next year.
