Avengers 4 Title Could Be ‘The Last Avenger’, According To Mark Ruffalo

Actor Mark Ruffalo landed himself in hot water after he accidentally spilled the upcoming Avengers 4 title on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. A video clip has gone viral on social media which shows the actor narrating a sequence involving Hulk from Avengers 4.

He got so excited that he even revealed the film’s title After realizing what he did, Ruffalo took to Twitter asking Fallon to censor the supposed reveal.

[Jimmy Fallon], I trust that you will cut my spoiler slip on the show tonight. That was ‘off the record’ homey. Please don’t get me in trouble with Marvel (Barry) again. DM me back. M,” Mark tweeted.

Jimmy responded back saying it was too late to censor the episode.

Dude, it’s too late – already sent the final show to Burbank for air. Are you sure you’re gonna be in trouble? We could maybe bleep it out. What is “DM”?”, Jimmy’s tweet read.

The icing on the cake was the Russo Brothers’ tweet which read “Mark, you’re fired.” Poor Ruffalo responded back to the director duo’s tweet asking them to reconsider their decision. You can check out the tweet thread below.

Although Mark’s audio was replaced with a bleep in the video clip, Trailer-Track’s Anton Volkov used audio editing software to edit away the noise from the interview to reveal the supposed title The Last Avenger. Fans should take this with a grain of salt as this whole drama could most likely just be a funny set-up by Ruffalo and Fallon to troll the fandom. Earlier, it was also reported that the title for the fourth installment is ‘Avengers: Annihilation’.

In other news, Ruffalo aka Bruce Banner/ The Hulk went into the incognito mode during a visit to the recently held New York Comic Con event. Ruffalo met with Aquaman actor Jason Momoa disguised as Grunkle Stan from Gravity Falls.

The actor shared a video of Bruce Banner meeting with Arthur Curry on Twitter along with some pictures he took in disguise with kids at the convention. The video clip sees Momoa pose with mysterious mask man, who eventually takes off his mask and fez to reveal his true identity.

You can check out the video clip as well as the pictures below.

Aquaman is set to release in theatres on December 21, 2018, while Avengers 4 will arrive on May 3, 2019.
