The latest round of reports suggests the first Avengers 4 trailer is coming on Friday, December 7, most probably on ABC’s Good Morning America, which is part of the Disney/Marvel family.
The Avengers: Infinity War’s climax wiped off half of the universe population including some fan-favorite Marvel superheroes as well. It remains a big mystery whether or not the dusted Marvel characters will be brought back from the dead in Avengers 4. As the filmmakers don’t want to spill the beans on the secret, it is rumored that the Avengers 4 trailer won’t see any of the Avengers: Infinity War characters that died in Thanos’ snap making an appearance. The characters won’t even be made a part of any of the Avengers 4’s marketing or promotional material, for that matter.
Recently when a Twitter user asked MCU Cosmic’s Jeremy Conrad if Spider-Man will show up in the Avengers 4 trailer, he replied that no dusted characters will appear in the upcoming film’s marketing material. So, this means the upcoming trailer, which will likely get released this Friday, will tightly focus around the surviving original Avengers team as well as Rocket and Nebula. Rumors are that the Infinity War sequel will see some of the major Marvel superheroes sacrifice their life to save the world from Thanos.
Marvel is also expected to roll out the first trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home on Saturday, December 8 during the Sony Panel at Comic-Con in San Paulo, Brazil. Spider-Man: Far From Home will likely pick up in the direct aftermath of Avengers 4 and serve as a palette cleanser for Marvel fans after the events that unfold in the Infinity War sequel.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers 4 will arrive in theatres on May 3, 2019.
