Production work on Marvel’s untitled Avengers 4 movie is complete, and the team celebrated it with an epic cake.
Even though the film does not have an official name as yet, the filming for Avengers 4 is complete. Directors Anthony and Joe Russo posted a picture of Avengers 4 wrap cake (check it out below) on their twitter account.
The cake is undoubtedly beautiful and big as it shows Thanos holding two infinity stones (space stone and the time stone). The other stones can be seen scattered below him. However, it is interesting to note that the soul stone is conspicuously absent.
The cake is embellished with a huge Avenger ‘A’ along with the symbols of few of the founding team members. The arms holding the cake comes across as that of the Black Widow, Vision, and another character who cannot be identified. One cannot help but wonder if this is just a cake or whether the Russo brothers are trying to tease something from the film. The film will now move into post-production.
Avengers 4 will narrate the story following incidents in Avengers: Infinity War, the much-anticipated superhero film that will take on the Mad Titan a.k.a Thanos.
Marvel’s fourth film is especially critical to Marvel Cinematic Universe as this marks the “finale” of the MCU. With Avengers 4, Marvel would have filmed 22 films in a period of 11 years.
The production work on Avengers 4 started at the beginning of 2017. While Avengers: Infinity War is all set to release on May 4, 2018, the 4th installment is scheduled to hit the theaters on May 3, 2019.
Previously, Jeremy Renner, who plays Hawkeye in the film had announced that he has completed filming for his role in Avengers 4. Later, Karen Gillan also took to Instagram to confirm her wrap and revealed a small gift that she received from the directors.
Avengers 4 star-cast includes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Dave Bautisa, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Tessa Thompson, Pom Klementieff, , Vin Diesel,Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Sebastian Stan, Paul Rudd, Karen Gillan, Cobie Smulders, Chadwick Boseman, Letitia Wright, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Winston Duke, Hiroyuki Sanada, Tom Hiddleston, Benicio Del Toro, Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, and Josh Brolin.
