Earlier today, Marvel Studios released a list of character posters for both the fallen and surviving heroes from the upcoming Avengers: Endgame. The posters’ which were of color were an indication that the said character was alive and the dark dullness was the sign that these were the victim to Thanos’s snap.
The character posters also finally revealed the fate of Valkyrie who seems to have managed to survive Thanos’ snap. But whereas, Shuri has also fallen along with the others after Thanos’ snap.
Fans would remember seeing an escape pod launch from the Asgardian refugee ship at the beginning of Avengers: Infinity War. It was believed that the escape ship which was likely the grandmasters’ pod and was piloted by Valkyrie who managed to rescue some of the Asgardians before Thanos and his children got on board.
Many of the Asgardians were killed early on in the hands of Thanos’ children in Avengers: Infinity War. But it was earlier stated by the directors that the rest of the survivor that escaped would have also been affected by the snap. So it seems like there might not be a lot of Asgardians left on the ship but fortunately, Valkyrie has survived to play a role in Avengers: Endgame.
In Wakanda, it is most likely that M’baku is seated on the throne without Shuri or even the Queen mother to take over the role. It would be interesting to see how the Wakandans would play a role in the upcoming movie.
As the movie’s release date nears in, Marvel Studios is prepping up for its last round of promotions for the movie as the directors and cast would begin their world press tour.
Director Joe Russo will be in Mumbai, India on April 1 to promote the movie.
Avengers: Endgame releases on April 25.
