Earlier this week, some of the main Avengers: Endgame cast along with the Russo Brothers and Producer Trinh Tran were present at the UK fan event and the Red Carpet premiere held for the upcoming movie. The event attracted a massive crowd that was in attendance to witness 8 minutes of footage from the movie.
At the Red Carpet, the Russo brothers along with the cast were interviewed to share their experience in filming the final movie which will wrap up MCU’s 22-film arc. Although none spoke about any details which would borderline on spoilers, the actors embraced that this movie is, in fact, the Endgame and would complete the storytelling of the six original Avengers.
According to Express, Joe Russo also said that the movie is wrapping up the story of the original six Avengers when addressing the audience before the screening. He specifically uses the title ‘Endgame’ to hint the wrap-up.
“This is it. The reason we called it Endgame. The story of the six original Avengers comes to a close in this movie.”
Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson and Paul Rudd were also interviewed along with the Russo Brothers and Producer Trinh Tran. But Captain Marvel actress Brie Larson and a few others weren’t present during the event.
Avengers: Endgame runtime has been confirmed to be 3 hours and 2 minutes and will be the longest movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Moreover, the movie does not have an intermission as well and fans have been advised not to take a bathroom break since every little detail in the movie is important to understand the plot.
“You’re definitely not gonna wanna take any restroom break because there is not one single moment in the movie that you can say, ‘Now is a good time to run to the restroom’ because you don’t wanna miss any moments out of it because everything is just gonna come and piece together nicely,” said Tran.
Joe Russo also interacted with the fans at the Red Carpet signing Avengers: Endgame posters and posing for pictures. You can find all the videos below.
