As Avengers: Infinity War is just a couple of days away from release, the excitement for the film is quite high right now. Actor Anthony Mackie, who portrays the character of high-flying Avenger Sam Wilson/ Falcon in Marvel Cinematic Universe, has revealed that the final Avengers: Infinity War fight sequence is almost 30 minutes long.
During an interview with ABC’s Good Morning America, when Mackie was asked if he had access to the full Avengers; infinity War script before filming, he said he got 25 pages of the script, which he claims is going to be the longest fight sequence ever.
“I got 25 pages, which was the final fight sequence,” the Falcon actor said. “And I sent a long email, like, ‘this movie is going to be awful, how does this work, there’s no story, this is gonna be the longest fight sequence ever.”
Generally, one page of screenplay equals to one minute of screen time. So, a 25 pages fight sequence script suggests a near-30 minute action-packed climax.
During the interview, Mackie also talked about his co-star Mark Ruffalo who plays The Hulk. He said Mark is the institution of trouble. The actor did all sorts of ridiculous things on the set, cracked jokes and pinched people in awkward places, he was completely hilarious.
Even a new Avengers: Infinity War Clip was showed to the audiences which featured Black Widow, Captain America and Falcon fighting with Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive. You can check out the clip in the interview video below. An earlier clip also showed Black Widow taking on Proxima Midnight.
When Mackie was asked about his feud with Tom Holland, which began while filming Captain America: Civil War, he revealed that the two have become friendlier with each other now.
“We’re cool now,” Mackie explained. “He’s been cut down a size.”
Fans will get to see more of Falcon and the Avengers in action when Avengers: Infinity War releases next week.
