Avengers: Infinity War Deleted Scene Shows Happy Hogan Busy With Paparazzi

Now that the massively popular Avengers: Infinity War has finally made its debut on Digital HD, fans will get to know more about how the film came into shape courtesy behind-the-scenes clips, set pictures as well as deleted scenes and featurettes which have been released as part of the film’s home release.

While there were a plethora of Marvel Cinematic Universe characters who appeared in the third Avengers installment, Jon Favreau’s character Happy Hogan was missing from the scene. However, now, one of the deleted Avengers: Infinity War scenes confirm that Hogan did shoot some shots with his two favorite people Tony Stark and Pepper Potts, but the scene could not make it to the final theatrical cut.

Notably, the scene which saw Pepper Potts and Tony Stark conversing in Central Park after a jog was originally a bit longer as Hogan was in it. The theatrical version of the movie saw Stark discussing his dream with Pepper in which they had a kid.

Last night, I dreamt we had a kid,” Tony says in the scene. “We named him after your eccentric uncle, what was his name? Morgan.”

The scene ends when Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) summons Stark.

But, the extended version of the scene shows Happy’s entry in the scene riding in a golf cart asking Tony and Pepper to just elope as he’s tired of having to beat off paparazzi and the media circus surrounding the couple.

You two should just elope because this media circus that’s going on is driving me crazy,” Happy tells the couple. “This is me on edge because I’m trying to keep all the pictures out of the paper and off the internet so your wedding’s not ruined. Remember that kid from TMZ that you had me trade paint with on the FDR Drive? Well, I got a case against me now!

When Tony invites Happy for a walk with him and Pepper, he spots a photographer named Bert and rushes off to stop him from taking pictures. Presumably, it is at that point that Doctor Strange enters the scene as shown in Avengers: Infinity War’s theatrical cut.

Avengers: Infinity War is currently available on DigitalHD and will get rolled out on Blu-ray/DVD on August 14.
