‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Fan Spots The Location Of Floating Ring In NYC

A die-hard fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe films has figured out exactly where in New York City the huge ring is shown in the Avengers: Infinity War trailer is looming.

Imgur user jester651 used Google maps apart from its street view feature and cross-referenced it with the shots that we have seen in Avengers: Infinity War trailer to pinpoint the ring’s exact location.

The mysterious wheel, according to him is floating over Greenwich Village, especially the intersection of West 4th Street and West 10th Street. This is an interesting revelation for Marvel fans.

This obviously means that the belief that Tony and Peter were looking at it since they are in New York City might not be right.

Further, it also suggests that Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) is not looking at the ring in the scene where he takes off his glasses. Taking the location of the Sanctum Sanctorum, 177A Bleecker Street, into account, and the placement of Tony, Bruce, Strange, and Wong; it seems like Tony is looking in the opposite direction of the ring.

Another shot in the trailer shows Tony opening the Sanctum Sanctorum doors. The civilians in that shot are actually running towards the ring and not away from it as it seemed earlier. This means that there is something dangerous lurking close by.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Infinity War is one of the most anticipated movies of 2018. Marvel fans cannot stop talking about the film ever since the movie trailer was released in late November last year. It is hence unavoidable for the Russo brothers to feel the immense pressure to deliver on all fronts in a way that will appease the movie appetite of die-hard Marvel fans.

Getting each and every Marvel hero together in the massive franchise is not an ordinary feat. The film is also especially critical as far as the villain Thanos is concerned.

Marvel always had a problem with villains in their films as none of them were able to make a mark in the minds of the moviegoers. However, Thanos or the Mad Titan as he is popularly called is being marketed by the MCU as the big bad guy who will make a big splash and wreak havoc.

Avengers: Infinity War, directed by brothers Anthony & Joe Russo, will release on May 4, 2018.
