Avengers: Infinity War Final Trailer Shows Earth Forces Prepare For Thanos

The much anticipated second trailer for Avengers: Infinity War is finally here and it teases all sort of excitement instilled for fans this April. While the ensemble looks quite amazing, it looks like Thanos is the character that will steal the spotlight.

Initially, the trailer shows Gamora explaining to Tony Stark about the Mad Titan Thanos. The trailer clarifies that the supervillain’s only intent is to “wipe out half the universe”.

Iron Man seems to be teamed up with the few of the Guardians along with Spider-Man and is on a different mission. But it looks like Thanos’s travel to Earth for the Infinity Stones turns into an advantage for the ensemble.

There’s a lot to take away from the trailer. Steve Rogers is shown along with Black Widow, The Hulk and others joining hands with T’Challa and the people of Wakanda. As revealed, the technological advance nation will be the last stand spot for the heroes.

Thor is shown along with Rocket and Groot. It is likely that the three are putting together the new weapon Stormbreaker for the God of Thunder.

A flashback scene is also included in the Avengers: Infinity War trailer which shows a young Gamora holding Thanos’ finger. It looks like this is a prologue sequence which could show the Mad Titan destroying Gamora’s planet.

A scene involving Thor which was first revealed in special footage shown at the D23 Expo has been included in this final trailer. Thanos is shown crushing the God of Thunder’s head.

From the looks of it, this skull crushing scene seems to take place initially when Thor, Loki and the people of Asgard are captured by Thanos as revealed in the post-credit scene from Thor: Ragnarok.

The trailer’s anti-climax gives the audience a cliffhanger showing Steve Rogers taking on Thanos. But the video concludes by giving the spotlight to the friendly neighborhood superhero. Fans can find the Avengers: Infinity War final trailer below.

Avengers: Infinity War hits theatres on April 27th.
