Avengers: Infinity War- Karen Gillan Shares BTS Photo Of Nebula’s Torture Scene

In one of the Avengers: Infinity War scenes, Thanos was seen torturing his daughter Nebula (Karen Gillan) to learn the location of the Soul Stone from Gamora (Zoe Saldana). The Mad Titan suspended her in mid-air, with her cybernetic limbs pulled from her body and strung out around her.

As Gamora, who is Nebula’s adopted sister, could not see Nebula in pain, she ultimately revealed the Soul Stone’s location to the purple-hued monster. Thanos required the Soul Stone to fulfill his obsessive mission of wiping off half of the beings in the universe.

Gillan recently took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes picture of herself in character as Nebula along with Avengers: Infinity War directors Anthony and Joe Russo, discussing the Thanos torture scene. The photo sees Gillan in full costume as the cyborg anti-hero Nebula against a blue screen.

At the end of Avengers: Infinity War, while Gamora was killed at the hands of her own father for the Soul Stone, Nebula managed to survive Thanos’ apocalyptic finger snap. It is expected that Gillan’s Nebula, whose thirst for vengeance is even greater now after Gamora’s death in the hands of Thanos, will likely play an important role in the untitled fourth installment.

In recent news, Gillan has joined up with the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy cast to support director James Gunn after his firing. She has signed an open letter along with her co-stars calling out Disney to re-hire the filmmaker for the franchise’s next installment, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. It remains to be seen whether the cast’s actions will force the studio to recall Gunn’s firing decision.

Avengers: Infinity War is currently available on Digital HD. The film will be released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray, & DVD on August 14. Avengers 4 is set to release on May 3, 2019.
