Avengers’ fans have a new reason to rejoice. Marvel Studios is reportedly going to share an exclusive look at the upcoming superhero team-up film, Avengers: Infinity War, during the premiere of the original movie Zombies on Disney Channel. Zombies will air on Friday, Feb. 16 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
The exclusive new footage will be curated by Spider-Man Tom Holland. The teaser will get broadcast sporadically throughout the Disney Channel’s premiere of the original movie Zombies. In addition, Disney will also air previews for Incredibles 2 and A Wrinkle In Time.
Marvel also recently released a new piece of art as part of Avengers: Infinity War’s promotional campaign. The new piece of art has Captain America in his new beard look standing in the front and center with the Avengers logo at the base. He is flanked by Iron Man and Spider-Man, with Thor and Black Widow behind them. The top area features the Guardians crew, with Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, and Groot standing.
Talking more about Avengers: Infinity War, the film will feature 76 Marvel Universe characters including Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), and Paul Rudd (Ant-Man).
Chris Hemsworth confirmed the news in an interview with Toronto Sun last month.
“This is one of the biggest things in film history and to be a part of it was just incredible,” Hemsworth said. “I think what these characters are about to face — with Thanos — there’s been nothing quite like it. There are 76 cast members or something like that. I think what people are going to be excited about is what I was excited about and that’s Thor meeting the Guardians and Iron Man meeting Doctor Strange.”
The fan-favorite superheroes team will be seen fighting against Marvel’s super-villain Thanos as he attempts to secure the Infinity Stones. Thanos’ intergalactic task force, Black Order, will comprise of Corvus Glaive, Ebony Maw, Proxima Midnight and Cull Obsidian.
Avengers: Infinity War will land in theatres on May 4, 2018.
