Avengers: Infinity War New TV Spot- Adolescent Groot Has A Bad Mouth

With Avengers: Infinity War release date just a month away, fans’ excitement for the film is growing by leaps and bounds. In fact, Marvel Studios is also adding to their excitement by rolling out new and interesting video trailers, posters and other promotional materials every other day.

This time we are talking about a new TV promo for Avengers: Infinity War which shows the Guardians of the Galaxy characters in the spotlight. The new TV spot in question was aired during the NCAA Basketball Tournament matchup between Kansas and Duke.  It gave fans a glimpse of a scene that shows a humorous argument between Star-Lord and adolescent Groot.

In the scene, the Guardians are flying through space when Peter Quill turns to address Groot, who is busy playing some sort of a handheld video game. Quill gets annoyed that Groot’s not paying attention to him. It’s not clear if the tech device in Groot’s hand is the Zune gifted to them by Kraglin at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 or some other advanced piece of alien tech.

Groot, put that thing away now. I don’t want to tell you again,” Quill says to Groot who completely ignores him. “Groot!”

I am Groot,” the tree-like being replies in a mocking tone. “Language!” Quill responds as Drax looks on somewhat shocked.

Another recently released footage shows Thor’s encounter with the Guardians. The promo clip shows the Guardians of the Galaxy team trying to retrieve the unconscious God of Thunder who crashes onto their windshield. While Drax and Gamora seem to be in awe of the Asgardian, Quill appears to be a little jealous of their reaction.

Groot and Rocket will later be shown teaming up with Thor to help the God of Thunder forge his new weapon, Stormbreaker. Fans got some glimpses of it in the second trailer.

Considering the fact that Avengers: Infinity War has already broken ticket seller Fandango’s record for the fastest-selling superhero movie in the first 24 hours of presales, it won’t be wrong to predict that the movie is going to smash all records left and right for Marvel Studios when it releases on April 27th.
