Avengers: Infinity War Posters Highlight 5 Teams Led By Iron Man & Others

Marvel Studios has just rolled out five new Avengers: Infinity War posters that feature the fan-favorite superheroes paired in teams. If you watch the posters carefully, you will notice that each of the five posters is color-coded to replicate the Infinity Stones.

In Avengers: Infinity War, the ensemble will battle against the Mad Titan Thanos (Josh Brolin), who is in a quest to acquire the six Infinity Stones that will grant him power over space, time and all reality. The six primary stones are the Soul Stone, the Space Stone, the Mind Stone, the Power Stone, the Reality Stone and the Time Stone.

To recall, the blue Space Stone first appeared in the original Captain America: First Avengers. So, it makes sense that the blue poster has Captain America (Chris Evans) along with The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Nebula (Karen Gillan), Mantis (Pom Klementieff) and Black Panther’s Shuri (Letitia Wright).

The red Reality Stone poster features Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Spider-Man (Tom Holland), and Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) with his colleague Wong (Benedict Wong).

The yellow Mind Stone poster has Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), War Machine (Don Cheadle), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), and The Vision (Paul Bettany), who also has the yellow stone embedded in his forehead.

The green Time Stone poster features Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), and Okoye (Danai Gurira).

The purple-hued Power Stone poster showcases a one-eyed Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Groot (Vin Diesel) and Rocket Racoon (Bradley Cooper). Moreover, The God of Thunder will also later embark on a journey to create his new weapon Stormbreaker with the help of Rocket and Groot.

Notably, the only color missing is orange, which depicts the elusive Soul Stone. Soul Stone is yet to surface in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Hawkeye is still nowhere to be found in the promotional and marketing campaign for the movie.

We will get to know more about Avengers: Infinity War as it inches closer to its April 27th release date.
