Avengers: Infinity War: Sean Gunn On Rocket’s Reaction To Ensemble

Avengers: Infinity War is undoubtedly the most anticipated film of the year. Fans are most excited to watch how their favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe superheroes will come together to battle against the Mad Titan Thanos (Josh Brolin). They want to see how the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy superheroes interact with each other in the upcoming film.

Actor Sean Gunn, who portrays Rocket Racoon on set in the MCU, recently, spoke to Screen Geek at MCM Comic-Con in Birmingham last weekend. When Gunn was asked who has the most interesting reaction when confronted by the character, he didn’t answer the question. Instead, he turned the question upside-down. He offered some details about how Rocket will react to meeting The Avengers for the first time.

Oh gosh. I think you’re going to have to be the judge of that,” Gunn said. “Although – it was certainly fun to see many of these new characters through the eyes of Rocket [Raccoon], because Rocket does not have the same sort of reverence for the superheroes that the average earthling is going to have. So, I think there is a lot of fun there.”

When Sean was asked if Rocket will come across any actual Racoons during his stay on Earth, the actor responded with “No comment.”

While it will be great to see how Sean and his voice actor Bradley Cooper will interact with the more grounded earth-based heroes, it will also be very interesting to see how The Avengers react to a talking raccoon fighting alongside them in Avengers: Infinity War.  As seen in the film trailer, Rocket and Groot will team up with Chris Hemsworth’s Thor on the hunt for his new weapon.

Fans will get to see more of their favorite superheroes in Avengers: Infinity War when the film hits theatres next month on April 27.
