Avengers: Infinity War Set Photo Teases Return Of Thor Hammer

The Russo Brothers have finally given fans an update on the filming of Avengers: Infinity War. The directors recently shared a photo from the set, giving their followers a perfect tease to the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok.

The set image revealed the Dean of Durham Cathedral, Reverend Andrew Tremlett holding the Mjolnir. Surprisingly, the hammer seems to be in perfect shape although the official trailer from Thor: Ragnarok revealed Hela shattering the weapon into bits and pieces.

The set photo seemingly confirms the return of Mjolnir. However, currently, we aren’t aware when the hammer would make its revival.   Fans can hope to find the answer later this year in November on the release of Thor: Ragnarok.

For those unaware, the photo was captured during the filming inside the Durham Cathedral. Earlier, Reverend Tremlett also called out the press to official welcome the film crew and the Russo Brothers for the production of Avengers: Infinity War inside the holy place. Furthermore, more set photos shared by fans also revealed Rocket Racoon and other characters filming inside Durham Cathedral.

In more Marvel movie news, Sean Gunn recently gave fans some insight on Kraglin and Rocket Racoon. Although Rocket is voiced by Bradley Cooper, Gunn plays as the character’s motion reference actor.

The actor provided updates on the filming of Avengers: Infinity War and the upcoming project Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Read the whole interview here.

Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on May 4th, 2018. Thanos played by Josh Brolin is the supervillain who brings upon destruction on Planet Earth.

Worthy.
