The Marvel team is currently filming Avengers: Infinity War in downtown Atlanta. Fortunately, it looks like security wasn’t tough during production as many were able to capture photos and video clips of MCU superheroes performing scenes on set.
Photos from AP NEWS revealed Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Benedict Wong as Wong, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner and Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Strange all together on set. The film crew seems to have constructed a New York destruction site for the particular scene.
Another video clip also revealed Iron Man and Doctor Strange performing a small action shot. The Sorcerer Supreme seems to have his guard up ready to cast spells/incantations. Tony Stark decides to take a few steps forward for the scene to look startled at possibly an unseen character. Fans can check it out below.
Ruffalo was also seen in set photos as Bruce Banner. The actor was wearing civilian attire. It looks like the character doesn’t call out the green beast during this particular scene, yet.
One of the set photos also gave us the first look at Iron Man’s new armor for Avengers: Infinity War. As Downey Jr. was present on set wearing his mo-cap suit, it’s possible that his character could have filmed a sequence with the same suit revealed in the image below.
While the photos and video clip definitely excite the masses to expect a nail-biting action sequence, it doesn’t say much about the scene itself. It’s unclear whom the superheroes are going up against. However, judging by the scene, it’s a character that is capable of destroying a whole city (Thanos or The Hulk?). Fans can find out more on May 4th, 2018 when Avengers: Infinity War releases in the U.S.
