With Avengers: Infinity War inching closer to its May release date, a lot of Funko pops, character miniatures and promotional merchandise have been rolled out in the market to create hype among fans. Those who have watched the Avengers: Infinity War trailer carefully might have noticed some interesting changes in their favorite superheroes.
The trailer in question showcased Iron man’s new suit, Captain America’s new shield as well as Spider-Man’s new suit. In the trailer, Peter Parker can be seen wearing the same Iron Spider suit that was teased at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Recently, a Twitter user who goes by the name T’Challah The Kosher Panther posted some pictures online that shows the Iron Spider toy with four extended spider arms that come from the back. You can check out the pictures below.
To recall, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) called out Peter Parker to join the Avengers at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming. Stark even presented him a Spidey-themed Iron Man suit. While Parker originally turned down the suit and the offer to become an Avenger, it now seems like he may have changed his mind or received an upgrade to help his fellow superheroes to battle the mad titan Thanos and his Black Order in Avengers: Infinity War.
Avengers: Infinity War is rumored to be the longest film in the history of Marvel Cinematic Universe with a runtime of 2 hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes). The film’s star cast includes Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) and the supervillain Josh Brolin (Thanos). The film has been directed by Anthony and Joe Russo.
Avengers: Infinity War will land in theatres on May 4, 2018. The fourth untitled Avengers movie is set to release on May 3, 2019.
