Avengers: Infinity War Teaser Shows Spider-Man Fall From Space

A new Avengers: Infinity War teaser shows Peter Parker a.k.a. Spider-Man in some serious trouble. In the new footage, Tom Holland’s Spiderman, who is without his mask, can be seen falling backward from Thanos’ Q-ship. It is likely that his superhero mentor Tony Stark/Iron Man will rescue him.

Parker’s fall from space most probably comes after he spots an alien ship in the sky hovering over New York City and ditches his school bus, leaping out of the bus window and swinging into action. Notably, this could be the moment when Spider-Man dons the new Iron Spider suit which Tony Stark offered him at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming. In the earlier trailer, fans would have noticed the web-slinger in space in a similar type of scene but was shown wearing the Iron Spider suit.

Although the web-slinger initially turned down Stark’s offer to join Avengers, it would be interesting to find out what forces him to reconsider his decision. Some reports claim that Spidey will don the Iron Spider suit to rescue himself from a near-death situation. So, basically, Thanos’ looming threat will force Peter to join the Earth’s mightiest heroes. Another recently released TV spot showed Peter swinging into action in the Stark-crafted suit.

During a recent fan fest event, when the 21-year-old actor was asked how Captain America: Civil War events will impact the team in Avengers: Infinity War, he said that he doesn’t know anything as he hasn’t read the film’s script.

Holland admitted that it was tough to film a movie without access to an entire script, but he said that he had complete trust in the Avengers: Infinity War directors.

It’s tough, but when you have directors like the Russos who you trust so much, it’s kind of easy, because you just listen to what they have to say, you do as you’re told, and it turned out great,” Holland said. “It’s all down to them, really.”

The actor also admitted that Spider-Man has officially become a part of the Avengers team now.

Avengers: Infinity War will answer audiences’ biggest questions when it hits theaters on April 27th.
