Avengers: Infinity War stars recently gathered under one roof to attend a fan event held at Television Studios White City on Sunday, April 8, in London. The actors who marked their presence at the event include Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Hiddleston, Benedict Cumberbatch, Letitia Wright, Paul Bettany and also Tom Holland.
Notably, this is the first time that Tom Holland’s Peter Parker has officially joined the Avengers superhero team. To recall, Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man presented a cool, new Spider-Man costume to Parker which he rejected at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thankfully, the Avengers: Infinity War trailer revealed that Peter did change his decision on using the new suit. In the trailer, Parker can be seen wearing an amazing A.I-equipped Iron Spider suit.
In a recent interview with HeyUGuys, Tom Holland talked about Spider-Man’s new outfit and explained that the instant kill function is not exactly what it sounds.
“I don’t actually think the instant kill function does what everyone thinks it does,” Holland revealed. “I think it simply shuts off electricity. I actually don’t think it’s a killing, like, piece of tech. I don’t think it is to murder people. I don’t think Tony Stark’s that dark.”
He further added that the feature won’t be pretty effective against the Mad Titan Thanos. “I don’t know if instant kill would work against Thanos,” the actor said.
During the interview, Holland also revealed his experience of working with co-star Chris Pratt in Avengers: Infinity War.
“Working with Chris Pratt was pretty awesome,” Holland said. “He is so funny, he’s so fun, and he’s got such great stories about his career and about the industry, and he’s just super talented, you know? I found it quite difficult because he’d make me laugh so much. He’s the man, I absolutely love him.”
Avengers: Infinity War will debut in theaters on April 27, 2018.
