A couple of new Avengers: Infinity War TV shots and clips have been rolling out constantly to hype the film’s release. A newly unveiled clip shows Letitia Wright’s Shuri, who first made her appearance in Black Panther as T’Challa’s young sister, Diagnosing on Vision.
The new clip was released during an interview with Letitia Wright on Good Morning America. It shows Shuri is scan-diagnosing Vision (Paul Bettany) while asking Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) some questions. We can also see also Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman), and Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) standing in the background.
In the clip, Shuri asks Banner why they didn’t “reprogram the synapses to work collectively“, to which he simply replies, “because we didn’t think of it.”
In the end, Shuri assures Banner that they did their best. It is expected that Captain America brings Vision to Wakanda to save him from Thanos (Josh Brolin) who will do everything possible to get the Mind Stone which is placed on Vision’s forehead.
An interesting thing to note in the clip is the Mind Stone that is still in Vision’s head, so, we can assume that the scene takes place before Thanos and his Black Order attempts to remove it. You can check out the footage below.
Fans are quite excited to watch Shuri confronting Tony Stark in the movie as the two are most tech-savvy people in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. During the interview when Wright was asked whose more tech-savvy between the two, she said Shuri.
“Shuri, come on! She’s young and cool,” the Black Panther actress said. “You know, Iron Man is like the OG of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He’s the godfather, so Shuri respects him. But I feel like [there are] ideas that she can pitch to him, you know, and make his tech that little bit better. But watch the film, see what happens…”
Fans will get to see Black Panther characters Shuri, T’Challa, Okoye and M’Baku team up with the Avengers in their fight against Thanos when Avengers: Infinity War releases on April 27th.
