Batman And Harley Quinn Animated Film To Premiere At SDCC 2017

The upcoming Batman and Harley Quinn animated feature has long-time fans aching for its release thanks to its classic touch in the making of the movie. All characters and the environment look quite accurate to the depiction from The Batman animated series first aired in 1992.

It has been officially announced that Batman and Harley Quinn will premiere at San Diego Comic-Con 2017 on July 21st, Friday night. Fans can watch the film in advance in Ballroom 20.

Earlier last year, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment premiered Batman: The Killing Joke at SDCC. The R-Rated animated film received a lot backlash for its sexual depiction of The Dark Knight and Batgirl in a steamy scene. However, the film still managed to earn past its production budget earning $3.7 million worldwide.

Fortunately, it looks like Batman and Harley Quinn could win over the critics as well the masses going by its plot and teaser trailers. Fans can read the story below.

In Batman and Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy and Jason Woodrue (a.k.a. The Floronic Man) embark on an ecological quest to save the planet—and, unfortunately, eliminate most of humankind along the way. To save humanity, Batman and Nightwing are forced to enlist Harley Quinn to catch Poison Ivy, Harley’s BFF and frequent partner-in-crime. But Batman’s patience is put to the test by the unpredictable and untrustworthy Harley during the twists and turns the reluctant companions face during their bumpy road trip. The result is a thrill ride of action, adventure and comedy no Batman fan has seen before.

Batman and Harley Quinn releases on August 29th, 2017 in Ultra HD Blu-ray combo pack for $44.98. Its digital version will be released prior in HD ($19.99) and SD ($14.99) version on August 15th, 2017. Fans can find out more here.
