Batman Invites ‘Justice League’ Members To Batcave In New Concept Art

[tw_dropcap]L[/tw_dropcap]Earlier yesterday, EW’s Fall Movie Preview featuring Star Wars’ Rey and Luke on cover hinted Justice League fans to expect some new promo content when the issue hits the newsstand. Fortunately, the news website has released the exclusive image prior to hype the masses for what lies inside the issue.

Entertainment Weekly has shared a new concept art from Justice League featuring the Flying Fox. The artwork reveals The Batman (Ben Affleck) on the right-hand corner while the rest of the members, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Cyborg are on the right side.

The exclusive article also contains interviews from Ben Affleck and production designer Patrick Tatopoulos. Here’s what they had to say.

“The Batman is typically kind of a loner,” said Affleck. “I guess you’d call him kind of inward, you know?. He brings [the Justice League] to the Batcave and lets them in on the central conflict of the story, who the enemy is,” Affleck added. “There’s a little bit of a Magnificent Seven aspect to it.”

Production Designer Patrick Tatopoulos gave some details on the Flying Fox’s capacity to carry other vehicles used by The Batman. “You can put three Batmobiles in the lower part of it,” said Tatopoulos. “I didn’t want to do a sleek airplane; it needed to feel like an extremely avant-garde classic. With the maneuverability of a jet—but it can actually carry things.”

“The bottom part of the jet is a huge cargo bay, which the Batmobile sits in,” the designer added. “The second floor is like a cultural center, with computer terminals. The third story is the cockpit. Whatever floor you are on, you can see [the other] two stories.”

Justice League hits theatres on November 17th, 2017. The film is currently undergoing reshoots under Director Joss Whedon.
