While Marvel Studio is gearing up for the release of its most prized asset, Avengers: Infinity War for early next year, Dave Bautista, who is portraying Drax the Destroyer gave away some interesting details from the movie and its teaser trailer during an interview with Comic Book Resources (CBR) interviewer Scott Huver.
If there is anything that Marvel fans want to know, it is about one of its most ambitious project Avengers: Infinity War since it is in the post-production stage. Marvel studio is trying to keep everything under wraps, including any official look from the entire star cast.
During an interview with CBR on his role in Blade Runner 2049, Dave Bautista said that he was glad that years and years of hard work has paid off when asked to comment on what he felt about Marvel’s magnificent project till date. He expressed his gratification on what he has seen so far of the film. “And that’s what it feels like – it really feels like we’re building this up, this culmination of years and years and years of work that’s just all coming together,” said Bautista.
Talking about his experience working with the cast and crew of Avengers: Infinity War, Dave Bautista said that they were like family. “It was a fun little family thing with Guardians, and it’s somewhat been broken up. It’s weird going to set and filming or playing Guardians without James [Gunn] there. It’s really an odd feeling. I love the Russo brothers, man – they’re great, and they’ve been very good to me. They’re just incredible directors. But it’s just an odd feeling, but you feel that we’re on to something big.”
Bautista said that the project looks enormous, talking about Avengers: Infinity War trailer. “I’ve seen the little teaser trailers that they’ve put together, and it feels big,” said the talented actor.
It seems like the talented actor hasn’t got to watch much of the film, but he surely knows more than an average MCU fan. He added that he has seen only good things to say as of now.
Time is ticking as the world is eagerly waiting for the first official Avengers: Infinity War teaser trailer. While rumors are abuzz that New York Comic Con will be the first to screen the film’s trailer, it is also possible that the trailer will be released ahead of the premiere of Thor: Ragnarok next month.
Avengers: Infinity War is set to hit the theatres on 25 April 2018, and is directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo. The film boasts a huge star cast comprising of Robert Downey Jr., Karen Gillan, Gwyneth Paltrow, Pom Klementieff, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Zoe Saldana, Cobie Smulders, Sebastian Stan, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Jeremy Renner, and Josh Brolin among many others.
