Black Adam star Pierce Brosnan describes wearing Dr. Fate’s helmet of Nabu: “There were two helmets”

Out of all the reveals from Black Adam, Pierce Brosnan’s Dr. Fate received the most praise from DCEU fans, mainly for his comic-accurate golden suit. Some of the latest teasers have shown the mystical superhero in the cloak, flexing his magical abilities against Teth-Adam but did the James Bond star actually wear the helmet of Nabu and the entire attire that comes along with it? Here’s what he had to say.

The main cast of Black Adam is currently on a press tour promoting the Warner Bros. flick for its release this October. Brosnan was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where he discussed working with Dwayne Johnson for the DC film. But the host also quizzed the veteran star about his experience wearing the costume, particularly the stylish long headgear.

“Everybody wants to know what it was like putting on the costume, what it was like putting on the helmet? You know, you can’t see a thing. It’s darkness,” said Brosnan to Fallon. He further added, “I mean, there were two helmets, There was a stylish, gorgeous looking, sleek helmet that’s in the other photograph. And then there was this one that I could physically put on.”

Brosnan then proceeded to discuss the motion-capture suit and also joked about not being able to see when wearing the Nabu helmet. The interview concludes by revealing a new clip from Black Adam that shows Hawkman (Aldis Hodge) questioning Dr. Fate’s foresight ability and if the magical helmet sees the death of one of the JSA. Readers can check it out below.

The Justice Society (JSA) is one of the highlights of Black Adam and while the superheroes seem to be teaming with the Mighty Adam, there also appear to be moments when they are in conflict with the anti-hero’s morals, especially Hawkman. However, it’s Dr. Fate that’s keeping his ensemble in line for the sake of the mission, which is dealing with another menacing force known as Sabbac. An earlier image showed Dr. Fate with another DC character, Harcourt.

Black Adam hits theaters on October 21.
