Black Panther’s Shuri Will Be Willing To Learn From The West In ‘Avengers 3’

While audiences loved Chadwick Boseman’s portrayal of first ever black superhero Black Panther/ T’Challa in the blockbuster film, Black Panther, there’s another character from the film who is gaining a lot of popularity. Its T’Challa’s 16-year-old sister, Shuri, played by Letitia Wright. Those who have already read about Shuri’s origin in the comic books know that she has a brilliant mind. More than just being a competitive and supportive sister, Shuri is a Black Panther in herself.

Thankfully, Shuri fans will get to watch her more as she will soon be seen in the upcoming Avengers movie. Shuri (Letitia Wright) along with T’Challa aka Black Panther(Chadwick Boseman), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Wakanda’s Queen Mother Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and Bucky (Sebastian Stan) will be seen returning to the big screen in Avengers Infinity War.

Talking more about Shuri, the Wakandan princess is touted to be the smartest person in the franchise. So, it will definitely be interesting to watch the character share screen space with all Marvel Film biggies like Ironman, Hulk, Captain America etc.

In a recent interview with the LA Times for Black Panther, when Wright was asked about Shuri’s future dynamic with MCU geniuses such as Stark and Banner in Avengers 3, the actress replied, “I think she’ll be OK. I think she would humble herself to learn from them and challenge them as well with new designs and new ideas from Wakanda. And she’s willing to learn from the West because her brother is so open now. I think she’s embracing that as well. She would hold her own.”

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers 3 will see the fan-favorite Marvel superheroes come together to fight against super-villain Thanos as he attempts to secure the Infinity Stones. Thanos is rumored to have his own intergalactic task force, Black Order, which will comprise of Corvus Glaive, Ebony Maw, Proxima Midnight and Cull Obsidian.

Avengers 3 will land in theatres on May 4, 2018. Shuri is also expected to appear in the fourth installment as well.
