Marvel fans have their own theories regarding what might happen in Avengers 4, but actor Samuel L. Jackson claims he already knows what’s in store.

To recall, Jackson’s Nick Fury briefly appeared in Avengers: Infinity War’s post-credit scene in which he gets turned into dust after Thanos snapped his fingers. But before vanishing, the former director of S.H.I.E.L.D. used his pager to send a message to Captain Marvel who is expected to play a major role in Avengers 4.

During a recent interview with Vulture, while promoting Incredibles 2, Jackson revealed that his role as Nick Fury in the upcoming Captain Marvel solo film has helped him figure out how Avengers 4 might end.

“Who’s really dead, and who’s really in the flaky wind of Marvel dust, I don’t know, but I do know there’s a solution that they didn’t even have to tell me, just because I know who Captain Marvel is and what all that means,” Jackson said.

While the 69-year-old actor did not reveal anything about how Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel will connect to the climax of Avengers 4, he did hint that the Marvel female superhero might just be the one who will turn the tides in Avengers 4.

But before joining the Avengers in their battle against Thanos next summer, Captain Marvel will be seen alongside Jackson in her stand-alone movie that premieres March 8, 2019. The film set in the 1990s will focus on the story of Carol Danvers, a U.S. Air Force pilot whose DNA gets fused with that of the alien species leading to her becoming a superhero.

Captain Marvel is touted as the strongest superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. During a recent interview with E!, Larson revealed that Captain Marvel is so strong that she can even move planets.

There are rumors that Carol Danvers might lead the MCU in Phase 4 stepping into the shoes of Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans post-Avengers 4.
