Captain Marvel Actress Brie Larson Poses With Her Character’s Funko Pop Figure

As Marvel Studios highly anticipated film Captain Marvel is inching closer to release, the makers have begun promoting and marketing the film in full swing. They have already rolled out a ton of awesome Captain Marvel merchandise including toys, mini figures, clothing line, bags, and books to create hype among fans. It seems even actress Brie Larson is quite excited about the film’s line of merchandise.

Larson recently added a picture to her Instagram stories that showed her holding one of Captain Marvel’s Funko POP figures. The Captain Marvel line of Funko POP figures is currently up for sale on various retailer websites. You can check out the picture below.

Last week, a Captain Marvel tie-in action figure from Hasbro almost confirmed that Carol Danvers will use the Binary form in the movie. A Captain Marvel fan account, which goes by the username Captain Marvel News, shared pictures of two new tie-in figures for the upcoming Marvel film. The first figure was labeled Binary Form, while the other one featured Carol dressed in her Starforce costume.

For those unaware of Carol’s Binary form, in the Marvel Comics universe, there was a period when the power-absorbing mutant Rogue stole Carol’s powers. During this time, she was abducted by the alien race known as the Brood whose experiments ended up unlocking immense power stored in Carol’s genes. The experiment endowed her with cosmic power, transforming her into Binary making her capable of drawing upon the power of a star via a white hole. The cosmic powers make Carol Danvers the most powerful hero in the MCU.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson, Jude Law, Samuel L. Jackson, Clark Gregg, Djimon Hounsou, Gemma Chan, Lee Pace, Ben Mendelsohn, Lashana Lynch, Kenneth Mitchell, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, and McKenna Grace.

The film will fly into theaters on March 8, 2019.
