Captain Marvel Actress Brie Larson Shares Workout Picture With Alison Brie

Superheroes are always meant to be in great shape. Well, Brie Larson is also working out pretty hard in the gym to stay in superhero shape for her titular role in Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel.

Larson recently took to Instagram to upload a picture of her weight training alongside fellow actress Alison Brie.

“ALISON BRIE LARSON is coming for ya,” the Captain Marvel actress captioned the picture.

Brie is best known for her roles in Community and the ongoing Netflix series, GLOW, which is all about 1980s syndicated women’s wrestling. The actress is essaying the role of professional wrestler Ruth Wilder, aka Zoya the Destroyer. The third season of GLOW is expected to make a return to the streaming service sometime next year.

Talking about Larson, the Room actress is all set to make her debut as Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel next March and later reprising the role for Avengers 4. While the actress has already wrapped up shooting for the Marvel female superhero film, it is likely that she will return for Avengers 4 reshoots which is expected to take place this summer and fall.

Captain Marvel is set in the 1990s amid the Kree-Skrull War. The film will dig deeper into the Marvel female superhero’s origin story revealing all about Carol Danvers’ transformation from a U.S. Air Force pilot to a superhero.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, Captain Marvel also stars Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Djimon Hounsou as Korath, Lee Pace as Ronan, Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva, Lashana Lynch, Ben Mendelsohn, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, McKenna Grace, Kenneth Mitchell as Joseph Danvers, Clark Gregg  as Phil Coulson, and Jude Law as Marv-Vell.

Latest rumors suggest the Marvel Cinematic Universe is going to make some big announcements this month. Many are assuming that it could be a Captain Marvel trailer and a Black Panther 2 announcement.

Captain Marvel is set to arrive in theaters on March 8, 2019.
